Concert Summary

Lock up your drugs - Aerosmith is coming to town! These notorious opiate-hounds swaggered out of the Boston night like the bastard sons of Mick and Keef to become one of the world’s top stadium acts. Their triumph in the face of self-inflicted adversity is little wonder when taking into account their potent cocktail of bluesy riffing and proto-punk attitude, plus the liberal application of scarves.

With the release of 1975’s Toys in the Attic, ‘Smith had upped the ante by introducing a dreamy, Beatle-esque whimsy…entire summary

This is a great example of the band just before peaking. I saw the Draw The Line tour in 1977 and you couldn't tell what song they were playing until the chorus. It was at the Long Beach Arena. Shitty sound and a fucked up Aerosmith (AC/DC w/Bon Scott opened, blew Aerosmith off the stage). I saw them again at The Greek Theater in LA in 1985 when Perry rejoined and all was well with the world. That concert was one of the best I've ever seen. Crowd on its feet every second (very rare indeed) and easily trumped this 1975 set. The greatest of all American hard rock bands for attitude and tunes. Smokin'.

ONE OF THE GREATEST HARD ROCK BANDS OF IT'S TIME. BEING A BOSTON NATIVE AND GROWING UP WITH THE BAND AND 19 CONCERTS LATER, AEROSMITH IS AMERICAN ROCK N'ROLL AT ITS BEST.

I first saw Aerosmith at Suffolk Down in 1973 playing support to Sha Na Na. Wow, that was along time ago.

This is an excellent concert. There are other hot concerts by Aerosmith from 1974--fathers place for example. Please put up more aerosmith shows!

Steven Tyler best frontman ever! Loved how he floated around the stage and kick ass vocals. Brad, Tom, and Joey always laid down a sledgehammer groove. Joe Perry mean Mr. Style! Have been rockin to these guys since 76.
